I’m writing these rows from Veszprém city where in 9 February died the Romanian handball player Marian Cozma in consequence of gipsy band’s attack. He was the member of Romanian representative team and MKB Veszprém team.
Here in chess.com was a Hungarian – Romanian memorial match for memory of Cozma. In the chess.com is in progress a Marian Cozma Memorial Tournament 13 February ago where Hungarian and Romanian chessplayers are playing and the last game will decide the final result. The most important point that in the last game there is a chessplayer from Bucharest and there is a player from Veszprém. The result is secondary. Already was a representative match in soccer between Hungarian and Romanian teams in the Budapest Puskás Stadium. On the last week were playing the Hungarian and Romanian male handball teams in Oradea (Nagyvárad). Both matches happened for memory of Marian Cozma.
But here is the main cause of this article: Yesterday was published an article in the magazine of Veszprém city. There was visible this photo about the model of Cozma monument. This is the first paragraph of the article: In the Gallery of Benedictine Abbey of Tihany was demonstrated the reduced copy of Cozma monument at the end of last week (19 September). The set up of monument will be in 6 February 2010 on the South-Western side of Arena Veszprém (sports hall).
Here is the example when two European nation unite in connection with a tragedy. I hope that this union will remain in the next, - here in Central Europe where the Hungarian and Romanian nation survived in the ring of Slavic nations 1100 years ago.

On the second picture there is the Abbey of Tihany with background of Balaton lake. The Abbey is visible also on my photos: Press-houses… The Abbey was founded by the 4th Hungarian King I.(first) András in 1055. In the lower part of church is the burial place of Hungarian Kings. There is the tomb of I. András (died in 1060). This 1000 years old historical place was worthy of demonstration Cozma monument’s model.
