Now the glow of victory is gone!  I did another first by putting myself out as an "open seek" for a game and have been challenged by a player that is in the 1700 range.  I am scared!!  I know I am going to get a whooping but I am taking it as a learning experience.  Hopefully I won't embarrass myself - even if I did, it wouldn't be the first time. 

I have only been playing chess for about a year - basically have taught myself.  I had a free trial on another chess site but it expired after two weeks and I wasn't that impressed with the overall web site to buy a subscription.  So far, this one is excellent for the free services.  So good I am going to ask for a upgrade as a Christmas present!!!
