Hi there!
Been a long long time.
Sadly, the National Chess Federation of the Philippines is brewing with internal conflicts. By tomorrow, the 1st Congress of NCFP will happen at the Tagaytay International Convention Center, headed by the current PResident Prospero Pichay Jr and Secretary Genral Bambol Tolentino. The controversy? a splinter group has requested and actually got a temporary restraining order from Quezon City. Headed by Atty. Sam Estimo and Matt Defensor.
Sad reality. We all know the Philippines is experiencing a resurgence in the game and the past two years with GM's Laylo and So capturing their titles late last year.
