Reasons to date a chess player

Submitted by chessgeek00 on Wed, 01/16/2008 at 11:38am.

(i thought of these myself, so tell me what you think)

1. we only play with one person at a time

2. we usually like to make the first move

3. we know how to use our pieces

4. we win by having the opponent not being able to move

5. it takes a l  o  n  g time to play ;)

6. we think before we make a move

7. we like to play on a hard surface (the chess board lmao)

(yeah i was shooting for 10 reasons.... maybe you guys can add more!)

What about the down side?

1. An over interest in pawn

2. Too much time spent playing with one's own bits.

anymore for anymore?

an over interest in pawn is a bad thing??
