Was counting in terms of plys.  Old computer chess habit ;-)

1. Qxh6+

2. ... gxh6

3. Nxf7+

4. ... Rxf7

5. Rg8++

I think it is mate in 3.

1. Qxh6+ gxh6.

2. Nxf7+

Note that g file is now open and under control of the Rook. So, King cannot move onto g file. The only square on h file is h7, which is under control of f7 knight. So, 2...Rxf7 is force.

3. Rg8+ is mate.
