Why Chess.com?

I am one of the older persons in life and find that I have more time on my hands now.

I got a computer then the Internet WOW like a child with a new toy.

What to do with this great thing > it did not take me long to look at this and that > then one day a thought CHESS!! I used to play when I was young but then commitments of life takes it toll and you are in the big world.

I typed in chess and up came a wealth of information enough to fill many libraries. After pushing this link then that link I came across CHESS.COM Wink

Well since then I have not looked back the site is great.

I was welcomed by a greeter > man that made me fell good > not just a number but to have someone to take time and explain the workings of the site over a game and a chatSmile

I had a few games with others and then I got an invite to join a group WOW am I good enough ?!? I joined and then found I was put in admin their was only three of us at the time we had our first team match > again the thoughts of playing against an other team was mind blowing Yes we drew the match BOOST !!

I then joined a couple of other groups and met great people who helped me with my chess and opened my eyes up to the bigger universal picture that CHESS.COM nurtures.

One group has had a very big influence on me When I was accepted to it I got a very warm welcome and found myself in a game The hippopotamus and the Super Admin was graded over 2000 from their I found myself playing in Rats Ducks and many more strange setups.

It did not take me long to become a full member with the benefits of all the great videos training tools and a host of other great features.

The site is growing in membership and is being improved all the time.We have our own TV Chanel now WOW I think it is great and it will get greater. Yes my subscription is the best value for money I can ever have.

I can not thank Erik and his TEAM at CHESS.COM and all the MEMBERS who take the time to post all the pictures and great articles you will never see in a library enough for making my time on the Internet worthwhile and introducing me to great friends great chess and great facilities YO!

CHESS.COM is number oneYO!Yell

Bert, thanks for being my greeter when I first came on board.  You really made me feel welcome (even if you did beat up on me in the game).  I've had a great experience here and a lot of it is due to you.  Thanks again, bud.
