Thinking Your Way to Chess Mastery

Submitted by IM dpruess on Thu, 11/19/2009 at 4:36pm.

I'm happy to announce a new chess TV program coming to chess.com, beginning this coming Monday. The show will air at 2 pm pacific.

The program is entitled "Thinking Your Way to Chess Mastery." It will cover some tense and high level clashes, and help the viewer to develop thinking habits and techniques (as well as chess knowledge) that can hopefully enable them to play at a master level.

Our host for the show will be International Master Mark Ginsburg ( http://www.chess.com/members/view/Nezhmet ). He has posted a blog about his new show at http://nezhmet.wordpress.com/2009/11/19/the-fabulous-00s-new-age-chess-programming/

Please tune in to the new broadcast if you are interested in improving your chess, and then also give either Mark or myself feedback about how well the show works for you.

:-)

The second installment occurred today at 12:30 PST.  The third is scheduled for next Monday at 2 pm PST (5 pm EST).

I will post blog entries on #2's problem and leave a placeholder to discuss #2's solutions.

I am Deaf and hope it will come with closed-captions. It would benefit me greatly if it does.

Thank you!

Yup, the shows will be archived and viewable "on-demand" in the chess.com/tv player.

I believe that yes, the shows will be archived so you can watch them later.

Good & original idea. At about what time (GMT) will the program begin Smile ?

Edit: I just saw the time, as different timezones may unfortunately force part of the audience to skip the video, would it be possible to upload the videos so that we can watch them later on?
