1635 OTB

The ratings changes are in! With a 3.5/4 result at the london april open, and a performance rating of 1787, my CFC rating has finally crossed the 1600 mark landing at 1635. This makes me want to work even harder to improve my tournament results and climb to the next hurdle...1700!

You mean my chessbase DVDs?

I like them a lot! The ones I use most often are:

Karsten Muller's endgame DVDs 1 & 2

Andrew Martin's "ABCs of the Benko Gambit"

Ari Zeigler's "French Defence"

George Renko's "Intensive Course Tactics 1"

Generally I find them to be better than books for assimilating chess knowledge.
