Random chess training part 3

This a funny position from one of my correspondence games. Well, funny to me because there was time control of 14d/move for this game and I still didn't see what my opponent could do in the following position, luckily my opponent didn't see it either... Wink I was planning to play either 20.c5 or 20.Rfd1. Well, I ended up playing 20.Rfd1 because I thought I could play c5 on the next move when it would be a stronger move. Obviously I was too obsessed of what I can do in the position so I neglected to see if my opponent has some tricks in his sleeve...

This may be a bit tougher to see than the previous excercises I have posted. I know that some of you will see the correct move almost instantly but I hope that to some, this would be tougher to solve... In my defence by the way, I didn't use all of my given time (14d) to make the move 20.Rfd1?? Maybe I should have used a bit more time and looked harder for possible moves by black.Tongue out

If white plays Qc2 instead of taking the rook black will play Re2+ (discovered check) and the queen is now a goner. Also if queen goes to a2, then black plays Rxa3+ and the queen is lost again. I hope this clarifies the matter for you. If you have other questions about my previous blog posts or in this one, don't hesitate to ask!

I am missing why the Q had to take the R and be lost?  Why not Qc2 or something?
