Submitted by fzweb on Sun Oct 18, 2009 10:25pm.

This game was interesting because: 1. He played the Scotch-something I am not familiar with 2. During the game, his rating went from about 1510 to 1886. 3. I was too friendly with this guy and hinted that I had some tactical shots (which he adm... Read more »

Submitted by fzweb on Wed Apr 8, 2009 4:30am.

Removing the Defence

Submitted by fzweb on Wed Jan 14, 2009 1:21pm.

This was a very quick game I played with my dad (he isn't that good). He was watching some DVD at the same time so he was bound to stuff up, but the position he ended up with was shocking. Read more »

Submitted by fzweb on Wed Oct 29, 2008 1:50pm.

The Grand Prix Attack was originally feared by many grandmasters for its ability to have opponents checkmated in 25 moves (or less)! However, there is an anecdote...I just don't know it! Here are two traps for white to play. (Pretend that black h... Read more »

Think I need my eyes checked...

Yep, more and more times I've accidentally left a piece en prise or moved it to a square in which it can be captured with no compensation. Must keep improving chess...   Read more »
