A Beginning Advantage

This is a cool opening that my friend showed me. He encountered it in a tournament against an aggressive player. My friend played as black.

I have actually seen Hikaru Nakamura play this in a tournament against another Grandmaster, He ultimately ended up losing, but i have always thought that it was bad because it brought the queen out too early in the game. You should however look the game up if you really like that opening so much. I personally wouldnt play it, but this is only because i only play openings i know something about.

Looks like the Damiano Defense - surely the weakest response to 1.e4 e5 2.Nf6:


Black can't do much better if he tries to keep the rook:
