I don't typically play the Latvian unless I'm just having fun. Nothing against the opening; it just feels so dangerous.

I've tried the Schliemann Defense to the Ruy Lopez. In my opinion, it's got the same kind of tactical-bloodbath feel to it, but it seems a bit safer.

Anyway, it looks like your opening preparation got to quite a few of your opponents in this game. That's the benefit of playing the same opening for a long time.

i try to play it against 1.e4, e5, 2.Nc3, so i can keep learning more about it
