Here are all eleven of my OTB games last season....
I replayed some of your games and those are indeed good games.good luck to your future otb games.:)
time control is 40 moves in 90 minutes + 20 minutes each to finish :-)
Crowley-Roberts (17 Jan) was a much better game - definitely the best till that (haven't finished the last 3 yet). No, I didnt mean they are chumps, but I get frustrated when 2000+ rated players start dropping pieces and fall for back rank mates and stuff. That's meant for class B-class C players. ie. under 1800 folks. Maybe I was expecting most Brits to be Michael Adams ?:p (man was he good at his peak..I wonder what he does in off-season) . Nevertheless what is the time control you guys use?
thx for your comments qubit...yeah S.Hill blundered in time trouble, we both had less than a minute in the end position and a few more moves were played (i think he blundered the rook). Do you really think the quality is that bad? dont forget these 11 games are my only games i played from july 07 - july -08 OTB , all of them, not just my pick....so a few crappy games are bound to be played :-)
i just thought it would be cool to be able to add my OTB games to here as next season progresses, and hopefully get round to explaining why i played what i played...
oh and by the way, these aren't chumps i am playing....check out alex richardson's rating online if you want, and i did score +8 =3 -0 for my whole season :-)))
I just went through the first 3 games. I am sure the first game opponent was positively drugged to play such blunders ..but good game anyway. What I fail to understand is why / how does Black win in the game Hill-Crowley, unless of course there was a time-loss. Judging by the quality of the opposition I think I might drop by to play in the Staffs league just to gain few Fide points :-) of course I haven't gone through all the games.. and it will take almost 40-50 min to do so.. but thanks for posting the games cuz even though I don't play anymore I love to analyze games.
