Help

I have played chess sporadically, since I was 13 years old. I purchased chessmaster in October,and I am grasping certain concepts - controll of center,time,open files etc...Any suggestions? Help!!!

No one answered my call for help. I've been kicking ass & taking names online to make myself feel better. to all GM's & iM's (Please, no M&M's plains or nuts) i want to get better. I have chessmaster, I read & play daily look over my games tell me where i need help. the good karma will be yours forever.

well if you will take advice from a novice like myself...i see chess like cooking you learn the basics like the sauce then you move on...pizza,sphagetti  then lasagna and so on chicken' cachitore'[spelled wrong but taste great]....next thing you know your a master chef,well you get bthe idea anyway,with white you chose something that black has to play your game like k.i.a,which is good for black as k.i defense get a book learn the moves and most important know why you play them,from their you learn what and how to  play your middle and end game....in a nutshell..didnot get your home  page.check you later
