A New Start

Submitted by ikagan on Sun, 03/09/2008 at 8:14am.

I was taught how to play chess at a very early age.  My parents came from Eastern Europe where chess was the game.  As a child a played but quickly it took a back seat to sports and then girls.  I did not play much until my son was born and then when he was old enough I taught him how to play.  He actually became a very strong player but I still did not play much.

Now at 51 years of age I have been bitten by the bug and have begun to play often.  I am hoping to improve as I go along.
