Melting Pot of Knowledge

I find that chess can be like a large melting pot.  When I first started playing chess on www.chess.com I didn't have a strategy at all.  After playing a couple of games I saw everyone that I played had a strategy of one sort or another.  I decided to pick up everyone's strategy that I ran across and I found that with experience chess is like a melting pot everyone had something to contribute to it and if you keep it in the pot then you can be the altamont chess player
