2010 reno far west open

Well i had an absolute blast in my debut tournament and i finished with 5.0. It was nice to get some exposure. I met some really great people, and some even greater chess players. Next section here i come!

 

 

Unfortunatly because of my draw and being unrated i moved down to the last board. However i got to meet a really cool lady named Anne Saldich.
Round 2
Round 3 was a six hour brawl! My redemption chance to play the tarrasch better.
round 5 board 2: now, i should have won this game multiple times, but then again the reason i didnt win this game, is exactly why i played my first tournament in D. and finally game six on board 1 vs undefeated section leader.

    You got lucky in the first game. You were down a pawn in the end game, he had a spatial advantage, more active peices, and got offered a draw.
    Taking the draw was smart.

    The second game it looks like you trasposed to the french defense advanced variation.

    You already got my other analysis.
    Well, played. Definately a strong player!
