The biggest mistake in the opening game was that Kiro's 9th move should've been Ndxf6+. With nowhere for black's king to go, this would have forced 9) ... Qxf6 10) Qxf6. Kiro's queen would have been safe from the attack of black's c6 knight, and would've had black's h8 rook en prise. It seems that Kiro was only looking at the even exchange of queens instead of the bigger picture.

At some point, white should've developed his king's bishop to free up the h1 rook for development. When he did finally develop the bishop on the 16th move, he pretty much threw it into the mouth of black's rook on that file. After those two blunders, I didn't bother reviewing the game any further. White played like a novice here.

The turning point was at move 26) b3, better was 26)Rxd8+ and white has a material advantage. Blacks bishop was pinned to the king so white would have had time prevent the rook on d8 from being captured.
