What ^^^^ said.

Lol I know who you played against here and was a rather neat game.Laughing A sac that didn't quite live up to it's potential but a valiant effort. Keep up the good playing.

kwesty92 was right! I think you resigned because of that!

True, it did stop white castling, but it took 2 moves to do (Bd4 and Bf2+) and later white uses two moves and plays Rf1 and Kg1 to get a castled position. It was a nice idea that didn't quite work - but, heck, I could put my 'best' game on here and it would soon be ripped to shreds, same for all of us. It's part of what makes chess so special!

My opponent in this game was rated over 400 above me. I did think about that bishop sac, and at the time, my main thought was to weaken him by preventing his castling even though it was at my loss

Well, this game doesn't actually have something truly special. Black shoud have never "sacrificed" the dark square Bishop like that.

I don't think it was very prudent to toss away your fianchetto bishop so fast and especially for nothing..

Not sure if 6...Bf2+? was a good idea.  Time to retreat and play 6...Bg7.

After 13.Nd5, Black should play 13...Qd8.  Now 13...Qe6 should have lost the Queen after 14.Nc7+.  After 26...Rg8, White can try 27.Rc5+ and if the Black king backs up, then 28.Rc8 mate.  So, if Black playes 27...Re6, then 28.Rxf7+ should lead to mate.
