Stars and Crowns

Hello people of Chess.com/co-members:

I'm only somehow new here in the site and I wonder as I browse the Members List... I noticed that some of the members has a "Star" or a "Crown" after their name/alias. Can anybody here in the site who knows could tell me what that means?  Is it somewhat a symbol for their "Rank"?

I see you received your answer, but I wish non-paying members who win significant tournaments received special emblems next to their names (like trophies).
