Quintessentially English, I live in a coastal hamlet on England's southern shoreline near Plymouth from where the Pilgrim Fathers set out to discover the New World. Rich green pastures roll down to the Sea from my home and that is my front-yard I split my time between here and the Bahamas. It is often (and almost always for me) the simpler pleasures that bring excitement into life - and doing just about anything at all in the right company. These simple joys are what effortlessly create fond memories and laughter out of nothing in particular and they are what rock my world. Enjoyment and, more particularly it's enrichment, is inextricably linked to sharing. Chess is just one of those simple pleasures and I love the game and most everything it has brought me. I play free of style and without the patience for long-winded deliberation, which, for me, although it can prove disadvantageous, spoils enjoyment of the game by making it a chore.

We play the game with the bravery of being out of range. ~ Roger Waters Cool
