About Me:
In my working life I was a telegraphist. Of course, Morse code hasn't been used in Oz since 1959 but that's what I was.
I spent the '80s competing in triathlon and running marathons, was the breakfast announcer on AIR-FM community radio for a couple of years, and called square dances at Footloose Squares. These days I teach Creative Writing at U3A.
Most of my stories and newspaper columns are at http://www.tomorrowland.info
Average chess player (ACF 1600+/-). Have won a few restricted tournaments but nothing to get excited about. I'm hoping those people who believe in reincarnation have got it right because, if that happens, I'm gunna start studying chess a whole lot earlier next time around.
For all those people who keep asking, "Dozy" comes from a column I wrote for a Square Dance magazine. I used the pseudonym "Dozy Do" and the editor called the column "Dancing With Dozy". It stuck.
