Game Challenges

I dont like declining game requests but I just don't like playing lower people because they can beat you and screw your record up. I always play people who have a higher rating than me. So please share your opinion.

I agree with the others.  You have to let people who are rated below you a chance to play someone stronger as well.  If the people rated higher than you had the same attitude, you'd have no one to play with.  It's best to have a range of +- 300 points or so of people to way, so you're not getting trounced by superior players, nor are you bullying weaker players.

And don't worry so much about your rating!  And especially don't let your rating determine who you are going to play.  Ratings matter much more and are far more accurate in OTB tournaments and for players who reach a certain plateau.  Internet ratings aren't as accurate, I'm afraid.  Just play and have some fun!

How would you get a game, if everyone thought like you? It's not a very democratic or community minded outlook. But Hey! each to their own.
