It is heart-warming to see that in this era of computer-assisted chess preparation, Dragon can grow another head. Fischer outlined his 'science' of how to tame the beast 40 years ago, but it can't be that simple if super-GM like Magnus Carlsen chooses to play it in Linares. It's really very interesting that nearly all of the great openings that were developed before the computer era are still around today. I think this is mostly due to the excellent understanding of the game that the players of yesteryear had but it's also the case that computers are as good - perhaps even better - at finding defensive resources as they are at refuting other opening lines.
