How many times will I move my queen?

This is a game I recently completed. I had the black pieces, and my opponent played an opening I had never dealt with before. Neither side played his best. Probably the funniest part, on review, was how I often I moved my queen! Yikes! (I'm obviously playing an opponent who is not as strong in rank as me, and btw, it happens to be my Dad. But clearly, this was learning experience for both parties.)

Hello mjl4871, I like that game alot, it is funny and exciting. Tell your dad hello from me, and that he shouldnt trade his devloped pieces so easy off in opening. If you push foreward a piece and just trade it off, you often make your position less attractive, than more powerful. If it is threatened by opponent you can : protect it, block the attacker, pin the attacker, retreat the piece, counterattack and maybe other fancy moves as well..

keep posting your games mjl4871, even the ones with lots of queen activity

greetings from nils
