Basic checkmates

In the beginning we start with thirty-two units on the chessboard. As the game progress those pieces start to disappear at a lightning fast pace, generally we end up a chess game with one of the players having a huge material advantage over the other player when they have different levels of skill. But if they have identical level of skills in chess the game generally ends up with one of the players promoting one of his pawns and performing the lonely Queen checkmate one of the easiest checkmates in chess. This article is all about basic checkmates and as such I will give everyone a list with basic checkmates and a basic description of them:

Two Rooks checkmate –

Lone Queen checkmate –

 Bishop pair checkmate

Bishop and Knight checkmate
