Bad manners!!

For a long time I was claiming that extra vacations for privileged members are illegal and provoke unequal conditions for members! The last bad joke of "privileged opponent" was as follovs: one of them posted a comment " I enjoy making my opponents to wait..." . I clearly stated in my profile that I am ill, I can not play regularly, and the pressure that opponents specially use to irritate me  using their privileged status seems to me a bad tricks and inmoral ( somethink like a kicking opponent by legs under chesstable or wispering  bad words) - simply trying to make an opponent to lost his temper. Hereby I officially declares to CHESS.com authorities that next time I will cancel my memberchip in chess.com and will send a compaint to FIDE for the situation.

To RetGivvie98: Thanks a lot for good and intellegent, clever advises! I am playing a teammatch, so I would not do anything without suggestions of team admin.  Again, thanks a lot. Sincerely Yours, Alex

sir, paying or not, you will run into rude people anywhere.  in a tournament, you run into the jerk who thinks it is OK to bounce his leg, shaking the board.  in the internet, you run into differing levels of rudeness - but I certainly think if you are dissatisfied, resign all games and close your account.  Life is too short to stay in a place when one is aggravated by those around one.

you certainly have earned the right to reduce your aggravations - and I fully respect that right - thus encouraging you to stay when you are (appear to be) unhappy here would not be a 'right' thing to try to do.

This site has nothing to do with FIDE - and no influence on FIDE nor FIDE on this site.

while the site owner isn't happy to see folks leave, i fully understand your desire to reduce stress, and encourage folks to reduce stress.

if leaving makes you happier, please, leave on your own accord without more hard feelings toward the site.

if staying, then stick around longer, but know: there is little to stop kids from telling (typing to an opponent) you to 'Hurry up and move"   - as if that will work.

suggestion: if you stay, shut off chat  (disable it), in your games and enjoy the peace that follows as they cannot type to aggravate you.

not much else can be done - but if they get really rude or vulgar or message you to harrass you - report that to staff - click on 'help and support' and then on 'contact us' and submit a report on the user.  he will be disciplined for rudeness once it is verified by staff.  [[ I say "he" because it is generally ill-mannered male children or young male adults who get rude.  Girls grow up being - generally - much more polite to all - even rude little boys.  but Yes, I believe it safe to say it was a little boy who tried to tell you to 'hurry up'.   we can hope he grows wiser as he ages.]]

Well, now I clearly see that some americans do not know about "fair play" in competitions. They think that if they pay - they are allowed to use any tricks to win.

sir, this is a private website, and not related to FIDE in any respect.

have a good day.  you can cancel your membership at any time you choose, you need not wait for another aggravating opponent to rile you.

best regards for your goal:  seeking a lower stress life.  I too seek one of those.

    regards,
