Even though I can understand it is frustrating, your opponent is perfectly within the game rules if he moves even one hour before his timeout. Secondly, the fact that he went on vacation at this point would indicate that he is going on auto vacation, a premium feature which prevents you from losing on timeout.Once again frustrating, but a feaute for which he paid good money. Thirdly, I'm sure it's not gonna take one month until he returns. One month is only the total vacation time he has left.

In conclusion, don't dwell on this one game and enjoy the other ones you have going. He will return at some point and the game will continue. Online chess is about patience, also.
