I've seen this puzzle before. Q to a8 is the move, anything black does is checkmate.

Knight takes bishop for check then use the Queen
porterism
I think I've got it...
1. Qa8. All of black's legal moves from there are mate in 1.
If 1...Qxh8, 2.Qxh8 mate
1...Qh5, Qh6 or Qh7 2. RxQ mate
1...g3 2.Qc8 mate
1...Rg2 2.Qxg2 mate
1...Rh1 2.Qxh1 (or Qg2) mate
White would be finished if black can put white in check, but he can't. Clever puzzle.

not real sure about how the use the board, but the computer does make moves based on where white goes, but you get the idea.
