I started playing chess when I was 5,5 years old. My mother was the first chess teacher, but soon she could not win me any more.
My father was good chess player. First time I succeeded to win him when I was 11 year old, it was on the beach in Tripoly Libya, when I won 4:1. In Libya I did not find any chess club , but in family we played often. When I came back to live in Sarajevo most often we played chess within family tournaments. The husband of my sister was similar chess strength as myself, and father was also good player, but most often the winner of tournaments was me. The ancles and cousines where less strong players.
Finaly when I went to University for civil construction engineer, I started to play in chess club Bosna. I played only one year, because that same year I slowed with University exames, my doughter came on world too. That year I earned first category after playing good chess and winning chess tournaments organised by chess club "Bosna". Latter on I continued studying university and did not have any more time to continue playing chess.
After the batchelor of science deegre in civil construction engineering, I went to work in Italy where I played chess rarely. There I found interesting the bridge and as begginer I won two bronze medalls in Salsa Maggiore where the Italian bridge championship for begginers has been held.
Two years ago I came in Abu dhabi - UAE for work, and there I have partecipated one chess tournament after 20 years.
