My opinion of live chess has changed for the worse! I got into a position where it wouldn't allow me to move my rook... even if it was a legal move!
The chess.com guys have a lot of work to do.
"PLEASE READ! DO NOT USE LIVE CHESS unless you understand that it is still a work-in-progress. You MAY be disconnected randomly. You MAY experience lag. You WILL be disappointed if you expect anything else. For the BEST EXPERIENCE on Live Chess we recommend that you use Firefox 3, Safari 3, or Chrome. Internet Explorer browser does not perform well in Live Chess. Seriously, try !
We are working really hard on making Live Chess as fast, stable, and amazing as possible. In the mean time, please be patient - thanks!"

So yeah, I don't really worry about my rating on live chess (I think it's around 1000 due to bugs) I just focus on keeping my chess.com rating high, (1434) or even take it higher Things I do like about live chess include being able to play, well, live. I don't have to wait a day for the other person to move, and sometimes I like doing that.
one of the worse thing in live chess is,when you play and accidentaly your connection was gone you lose the game.for example you have time and after connecting you cant follow your game.
It is disgusting and frustrating to lose games with a better position or a decisive material advantage by just being disconnected abruptly (intentionally? or not i dont know). I began to suspect that some players have some kind of a software or hardware that can do this.
Thats why I play Online Chess, no glitches.
thats happened to me alot too....tell me when ur on livechess id like to play u
my opinion is that wut got me playing is chess club and it stinks when you cant move sometimes.
Besides, its common knowledge that Live Chess has a few bugs to work out and that the staff is working very hard to fix it
dude you gotta post the game for everyone to see... otherwise we have to take your word for it that it was a legal move.
