Positive mental attitude counts for a lot in Chess. You have improved loads over the past couple of years since I first met you and your knowledge of the game is increasing all the time. It's easy to beat yourself up when you play badly (I spent a whole day being angry with myself recently after missing a simple win in a League game and having to settle for a draw). Have a bit more faith in your ability, check your moves one extra time before you play them and the Chess Gods will be with you :)
