Well said Lynn, but I think you will find Stephen Walsh is a Rastafarian, not a Christian, not the same thing.

Good morning. I got an e-mail today that invited me to read these poems you've written. As you might remember me telling you, my husband and brother-in-Christ is in a wheel chair also, and very unhappy about it. My mom and sister-in-Christ, who was bed fast, died last week her funeral was Monday. This is the poem she gave us -

" I am home in Heaven, dear ones;  Oh,so happy and bright ! ... There is perfect joy and beauty ; in this everlasting light... All pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, Safely home in Heaven at last.... There is work still for you here, so please take your brothers hand; Do it now, while life remaineth ( you shall rest in Jesus' land )...When that work is all completed, God will gently call you to His home; Oh, the rapture of that metting, Oh the joy to see you come !"

I know that you're a Christian, I see the cross on your wall in the back ground of the photos you've shared with us here at Chess.com. As I read your poem " Black Hair " at first I thought you were writting a poem about Jesus and His black hair on the cross. Can you see Him there with his black hair matted together with blood from that crown of thorns we put on Him ?  Especially when the Holy Ghost reminds me that " You know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you by His poverty might become rich... not a hair of your head will perish...even the hairs of your head are all numbered."

He protect us in our great weakness against the devil, the world, and the flesh. He rules and leads us in His ways [Deuteronomy 8:6], raises us again when we stumble [Proverbs 4:11-12], comforts us under the cross and in temptations [2 Corinthians 1:3-5], and preserves us for life eternal [John 12:25]. I wish it could have been us there standing behind Him at His feet, weeping, wetting His feet with our tears and wiped them with the hair of our head and kissed His feet and anointed them with ointment. Those beautiful feet of His, that were nailed to the cross to pay for our freedom. "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of Jesus who brought good news, who published peace, who brought good news of happiness, who published salvation, who said to Zion, “Your God reigns.”
