First Blog!

Hey all chess players out there! I'm Rae. I've been a chess player for about a year and a half and I've been a member on chess.com since late August of 2007. I hope to become really good someday. In the past year or so, my chess career(if you could call it that) has expanded enormously. Instead of just writing it all in one long blog, I'm going to write bit by bit about how my chess knowledge, experience, and friends have become wiser, better, and closer. I know that I'm still far from perfect in the game, but in my blog, I'm going to journel my path on the road to achievement. Well, gotta go. Can't get better with an empty stomach. By ya'll!

I think it makes playing chess games all the richer when you know more about the person you're playing with - which is why I'm really glad you're doing this, Rae - it's so much more interesting when you're not playing some stranger who never types anything, but someone real instead. Count me in for the ride!

p.s. Out of curiosity, what was it that you ate?
