Sicilian Pin Black Novelty

Recently, I have sponsored two thematic tournaments: Sicilian Pin and Sicilian Pin Koch.  I currently have 12 wins and 2 defeats in the Sicilian Pin Tourney and 9 wins and no defeats in the Sicilian Pin Koch Tourney with no draws in either tourney.  I have not analyzed many of these games because everyone is playing the same opening and I do not want to give these strong players too much help.  However, in this game, one of my good friends at chess.com, Gustavo, introduces a technical novelty at move 8 that I could not find in any of my databases.  For the first seven moves, Gustavo played exactly the same variation of the Pin that I play.  Then he boldly launched into new territory.  I believe that this game demonstrates that the master DB leading move 8. Nc6 (with a 50% black win rate) is still the strongest reply.  White wins against 8. .. d6 with a planned queen sac that forces resignation!  Enjoy!
