I  haven't played more than 50 games at once......I think. I am moving toward playing less games online to focus closer, and playing live when I am waiting and want to play, like "littleman" said in his post.

Seminoleman, we are similar......somewhat, I am a 10th generation Florida native. My family has been in Florida since the 1800's, farming in Jefferson County. I know the Seminoles have been here for centuries. I am glad to see the reservations at least making money with the casinos now, I know it can never make up for all the losses, hopefully it does help a little.

part of the deal is that when you join a new group or make a new friend there is that little feeling of obligation to participate. this can be a sign of addiction, it also can be a sign that our Lord has given you a ministry here among other chess players and satan is trying to distract you so that you are not able to offer each chess partner the example of Christ that you are meant to be to them. The best thing any of us can do is pray that the Holy Spirit gives each of us the ability to "do whatever we do heartily as unto the Lord" and "acknowledge God in all that we do so our plans will be successful" pray that He will guide you when to accept and when to decline a game and pray for discernment to recognize when there is an opportunity to be Christ's light to someone here in this world. That is, after all, each one of our calling as Christians, isn't it!?  David

I see some people playing 200 to 250 games at once, but is that fair to your opponents, even when you are on line at the same time, it still takes ages before a move is made, can people play so many games, and really play properly, and enjoy the games.?
