The knight

Submitted by startiger411 on Thu, 11/27/2008 at 9:53am.

One day I was playing chess.  I moved my knight and kept it through the the whole game.  Thanks to that knight, I had won the game!  My dad was extremely proud that I had beat him.  I had never done THAT before.  I was quite happy with myself.  The knight's unusual move had my dad's king in CHECKMATE!!!!!!  Beginners and expirienced chess players should try at least once to keep their knights and see what I difference that makes.

nights are really the only way you can take a queen eary in-game. Later ingame you can get it so a queen is protecting the king but earlier on a queen king fork with a knight is good.

This is jsut my view, prehaps (and quite likely) I am wrong but that is how I try to use my knights.

Also when you are trying to get a checkmate a knight cannot be blocked like other peices.
