Sharp battle in the Scotch

The city league just started and this is my first round game. It is also the first time that I've decided to play the Scotch game OTB as White. The game turned out to be very interesting with lots of hidden tactical opportunities. I've played quite aggresively, since I've just joined the team and wanted to prove myself to the captain. The opening play was slightly inaccurate, but the ensuing middlegame was flawless and I've managed to score a full point.

Enjoy the game :)

    Excellent game!

At move 24 is there a better possibility with

    24.Bh3! Qxh3 25.Qxc7+ Ka8 26.d7 Rd8 27.a6 (threatening mate) (black may have to sac Q here) 27...bxa6 28.Qc6+ Kb8 29.dxc8=Q+ Qxc8 30.Bd6+ Qc7 31.Bxc7+ Kc8 with mate in 2 to come

    !?

I'm glad you showed me a few more interesting ideas with the Scotch. I'm not entirely happy with that Mieses end-game. Sam Collins (and other GM's) might be comfortable with it, but I like the Nepomniachtchi vs. Svidler game with more attacking chances.

yeah, Qe2 is slightly offbeat, but theory. Carlsen also plays it there. Such queen placements are not uncommon in the Najdorf and also possible in CK and some french lines.

Of course,  the queen blocks the bishop, but that is only temporary.

The point is that the bishop doesn't want to be harassed and exchanged just yet + White achieves rapid 0-0-0 and afterwards might play Qd2 (unless Black takes on e3 first, obviously) - and only then develop the bishop.

Interesting idea, castling queenside like that. I have some doubts with the Qe2 move, blocking the bishop. Is that theory?
