I'm curious. Why would you say this game against Bird is Morphy's best and at the same time say that Black won using inferior tactics against a poor defense?

a typical morphy game. however, some believe that morphy played more conservatively than what appears to be so aggressive as shown in his published games. too late for this footnote, i based my game on his games similar to this game from childhood. my treasured book, the golden treasury of chess, contains a lot of morphy games with queen sacrifices. i have to add that the only differencce between our games is that he always comes out the winner in his games, while i always come out the opposite in my games.
