I recently started to play moonlight chess and although the whole board and pieces weren't that clear, I could make them out-barely. In fact, it was quite nice!

Now, have YOU ever played moonlight chess?

but have you played in the dark, with no light on? You might think it's impossible to see, but after a few minutes, the eyes would adjust and you might be able to see the board and its pieces!

Turn- Some of my explorer friends. We even played four-way chess, which is an interesting variation, still played on an 8x8 board with standard pieces, mind!

I always seem to be "in the dark" when playing chess.

I have played chess under the stars with just the light of a lantern with which to see. 'Twas a chilly night.
