I don't know. I still like white after Bd6 Nxf7! Bxf4 Qxf4. tough to say, as Bxf4 isn't forced... but Kxf7 Ne7+ looks great for white too, further analysis needed. Kf6?? Nxh7 mate.

Hi Tim. Thanks for your input. I'd have to agree wih you Bd6 instead of Nd6 was a much better move and subsequently Nxf7 probably wont have won the game.

what happens if he played Bd6 instead of Nd6, so that the Ne8 covers c7 still, the Nc6 covers e7, and if Bxd6 Nxd6, f7 is protected by the Nd6? does Nxf7 win?
