giving 8. Re1 without comment seems a bit ridiculous to me, after all this move doesn't really do much for your position except if he takes on d4 which he apparently doesn't want to do anyway (because he coud have done so on move 7). You could have also elaborated a bit on the actual subject of the article (the central tension).

Yes, this was an actual game OTB. Opponent was an A player. I'm not really sure either - it seems that the etiquette of going over the game afterwards is perhaps going out of style?

Tough game, not bad. Love the Rh3 at the end and as you said "take a fresh look at the position" every move is a puzzle :D
