2009 Wolverhampton Summer League D3, Halesowen v Warley Quinborne

Last night, I played my first game in the Wolverhampton Summer League, for Warley Quinborne v Halesowen. I was on board 1 for the Division 3 team, with the match played over 5 boards. Away team is white on 1, 3 and 5.

The team won 3-2, so a good result all around.

350mde: Because the ECF grading system is such that my games from 3 years ago are included in it (when I wasn't as good). I'm about 110 really on the old system. About 150 though on the new system (when they eventually bring the grades out).

I prefer over-the-board, I think. Apparently, my Chess.com rating is supposed to be 300 higher than my real life Elo rating, due to the way it's calculated. That really isn't true! I make more blunders on here, too, because I have to replay the position every time I come to a board.

I mean, in my note on move 8, black should play Nb4!
