After 14 - gf6, 15. Nf6+?! - Nf6, then what? If 16. Qf6, then 16 - Qe7 and Black's position is defensible. If 16. Rd7?, then 16 - Nd7 would actually win for Black on account of his extra material and no good way for White to continue the attack.

14 - gf6 was the right move, but even that fails to 15. Re6+! . So I see nothing wrong with 14. Bf6, certainly not a blunder. However, as I see it now, 14. Bc3! with the idea of Nf4 might be even stronger.

    Interesting game, though marred by Black's errors (10 - ed?, 12 - Rd8?, 13 - Qd7??) who should've won this. Black missed 10 - Nf6!, 12 - 0-0-0! and 13 - Nd4 to gain the upper hand. Other than those, it's a nice miniature and I liked the finish, esp. 14. Bf6!
