A silent return

Many of you don't know me, and those who did, don't remember me. And those who do, probably don't care, but I do, so I write here...

I haven't been on Chess.com for six months. In a sense, I moved into a time warp and have come back. For those of you who had matches going on at the time (13), who won by timeout, I apologise. I was also in the Chess.com tournament (the first one), and must apologise to the organisers.

The reason I wasn't on the site for this long was that I was preparing for college entrance exams, which are brutal here in India, and my parents forbade me the internet. Once I got into college, I had no access to the Internet. Now that I've got my life back together, I'm back.

To all those who are on the site, I ask, what's new? After all, six months on a site growing at the speed it does seems like Rip van Winkle awakening. So, any news and tips on the site are most welcome.

Damn, it's good to be back.

Welcome back!  Surely school or work are priority to chess, unless chess is your work.  Anand edges closer to victory; he now leads 5.5-2.5 and needs just one more point from the final 4 games to retain his title.  Depending on your account, we have now Game explorer and Computer Analysis of the game, among others.  Otherwise it's still the same.
