Slow Turn of the Tide

In an extraordinarily valiant effort on my part to become more active on Chess.com, I've decided to start blogging.  This is the first of a series of posts I plan to do on my games, both wins and losses.  I'm more interested in analyzing my losses so I can look back on them, but I want to put in a few good games of which I can be proud.  So I figured I'd begin with this one.  It started April 25 and ended May 19.  I won't post any of my opponent's usernames unless I've asked their permission.

My opponent had a stronger opening than I did.  But little by little, I gained ground and momentum until I was able to create a material advantage.  Thanks to a couple of blunders on my opponent's part, the game came to a quick finish after 52 moves.

This was an enjoyable game that was full of tactical opportunities.  I might come back and look into it deeper later.  I need to learn a lesson from my poor opening and see if there were any other key moves I may have missed.  Feel free to comment and let me know if you see anything interesting in the game! :-)
