Another Quick CC Win

Submitted by rchopper on Sat, 11/17/2007 at 8:36am.

I continue to enjoy playing CC through the postal service.  It somehow seems more exciting than email or Internet turn-based chess.  I suppose it is because tangible objects hold more power-- having a whole gamut of sensory experiences associated with them: the smell of the paper, the smooth lines of ink, the anticipation of the arrival.  Perhaps it doesn't have broad appeal, but I really like it.

Anyway, here's my second completed game... another quick win.

In general, each pair of move takes about a week, and two games are played simultaneously with the same opponent (one as white, one as black).  In all this game took 4 months.

3...Be6 seems like a poor move to me..

How long did this game take?

I'm interested in trying out Correspondence Chess myself.
