I agree, he moved his Kingside pawns early... and since his queenside was also disrupted he couldn't castle eitherside.  Your Castle could have been your undoing if he had really pushed those pawns the rest of the way... breaking yours... but you kept him busy long enough he couldn't take advantage of that one positive about his pawn push early.
