Our youth group hosted an awarness banquet at our church on the 12th to raise money for HOPE international's microfinance program in Haiti.  We had a modest turnout of 27 (compared to the 40-45 that signed up), but managed to raise $1,128!!!  This was over three times the amount of money that was projected!!!  I will try to post some of the content that we had in my blog soon.  But, I encourage you to join our team and PRAISE GOD for He is good!!!!!  Also, a special thanks to the four members of chess.com who helped make this event possible!!!
