while i won't give you my favorite opening for white, i will tell my three favorite defenses for black.  my first opeing that i love and 90% of the times helps me win, is the SICILIAN defense, dragon variation.  my two other favorites fopr black that im still learning about, are the caro kann, and alekhines defense. alekhines defense is always a good way to play with black. queens gambit is a great opening but if your opponent uses slav, what are you gonna do? thats what im trying to do, learn all the steps with openings i learn.

i dont really have a "best opening move." i just read a lot of chess books and stuff. when i play against my sister, she sometimes forget that to win, you need to eat the king, not eat all of your opponet's pieces.

There is no "best" opening. There are lots of good openings and the best one is the one that fits your style and intent for the game--win or draw. If you would like to learn about alot of them "The Ideas Behind the Chess Openings" by Fine (a classic) or "Improve Your Opening Play" by Ward (shorter and more modern) are excellent books. :)
